Founded by Kalpit Patel, Mumbai-based startup PMV Electric created the small, two-seater electric vehicle (EV). Designed for urban driving, the EaS-E seeks to be a reasonably priced, environmentally friendly substitute for conventional two-wheelers and vehicles. For city travel, it is perfect with a top speed of 70km/h and a range of up to 160km per charge. The futuristic and user-friendly car has joystick-based controls, remote parking aid, and a drive-by- wire system. Positioned as India’s first micro-electric automobile, it provides at a reasonable cost a combination of efficiency, convenience, and sustainability. The startup presented on Shark Tank India Season 2 but failed to get investor money.

Conclusion

Offering affordability, sustainability, and advanced features including drive-by- wire technology and remote parking help, the PMV EaS-E pitch on Shark Tank India Season 2 presented an inventive, small EV intended for urban transportation. Although the idea was appealing, the sharks were dubious about market demand, scalability, and manufacturing viability. PMV Electric hence did not get money. But the pitch focused on India’s rising need for reasonably priced electric mobility options, therefore framing PMV as a possible disruptor in the changing EV scene.
